Junior Lawyers Network

The Junior Lawyers Network (JLN) is a forum for junior lawyers (between one and 10 years post admission experience) to communicate information and ideas that benefit each other's legal practices and to further the aims of LAW.

The JLN  furthers the aims and expands the scope of LAW through connecting and developing junior lawyers in member firms through the following.

  • Acts as a supportive network for junior lawyers in member firms through networking and sharing of best practices
  • Increases exposure to LAW and its goals of generating business and providing excellent legal service across international borders through knowledge of other LAW members and their practices
  • Contributes to succession planning in LAW and in member firms
  • Contributes to the Bjorn Feijen Lawyer Exchange Program: The lawyer exchange program at LAW seeks to allow Junior practitioners to gain exposure to a wide range of practice areas through the experience of going to other LAW firms.

The JLN Co-ordinating Committee, among its functions, has oversight and responsibility of the activities of the group, seeks feedback on activities and projects, develops content, promotes participation among junior lawyers and gives feedback to the LAW Executive Committee on matters pertinent to the JLN.
