Attorney Robin J. Stinson is now a certified arbitrator through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). While Robin has previously served as an arbitrator in NC family law cases, this AAML certification represents another level of distinction. She is one of only 15 AAML-certified arbitrators in the state of North Carolina.

Robin pursued AAML arbitration certification to learn strategies and techniques from some of the nation’s most outstanding family law arbitrators. “With this increased skill set, I believe I can more carefully hear and render arbitration opinions and decisions in a fair and equitable manner for attorneys and their clients,” Robin Stinson says.

Robin has practiced divorce and family law for more than 36 years and has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the North Carolina State Bar since 1991. She serves as a mediator, certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission, and arbitrator for family law cases.

Robin is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the professional organization for dedicated family lawyers who are recognized and respected by the bench and bar as leaders in the field.
