Howard Kennedy is delighted to be joined by new partners, Heidi Walsh and Ellis Gardner-Browne.

Heidi is an Austrian qualified lawyer and has a wealth of experience as counsel and arbitrator in international commercial and investment arbitration. She has represented clients in several arbitration forums such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), the Swiss Arbitration Centre (“SAC”) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Her expertise spans various industries, including oil and gas, telecommunications, shareholder disputes, and broader commercial matters. She has a civil law and common law background having both worked in Austria and London in the last 15 years.

Ellis has extensive expertise across the investor, retail and leisure, and petroleum sectors. He specialises in investment and occupier acquisitions and disposals, handling complex transactions and projects related to Motorway Service Area (MSA) portfolios, large sheds, logistic facilities and retail parks for private equity funds, institutional and industry leading clients. With a particular interest in the energy market, Ellis advises investors and occupiers on real estate aspects of investment opportunity and diversification of use for land.
