Firm Overview
The law firm of Stewart & Winch provides legal services to a variety of domestic and international clients primarily in the practice areas of Business Law (corporate and commercial); Real Estate (leases, acquisition and development); International Business Transactions; Intellectual Property (including software licensing and distribution); and Wills, Estate Planning and Probate.
While the majority of firm clients are domestic, a number of clients are internationally based, or have business interests throughout Canada and the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia.
Charlie Winch and Terry Stewart have been in practice for over 25 and 30 years respectively. During that time, they have represented many of Greater Vancouver’s businesses, community leaders, business owners, financial institutions (chartered banks, credit unions, savings unions and financial corporations), a provincial stock exchange, an international airline and various Ministries and Crown Corporations of various levels of government. The lawyers in the firm pride themselves on maintaining their legal skills at the highest level and on bringing extensive legal experience and proven practical business judgement to bear on all client matters. The result is quality legal representation comprised of detailed knowledge of the law and practical solutions.
Stewart & Winch has been a member of Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) since 1992. Mr. Winch and Mr. Stewart have traveled extensively to numerous countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Central America and the United States to attend LAW meetings and on client business.
Stewart & Winch acts as the registered offices for numerous corporations which have been incorporated in Canada federally, provincially, extraprovincially or in foreign jurisdictions.
Stewart & Winch offices are located in West Vancouver, immediately adjacent to downtown Vancouver.
