Carla Rodrigues, a JPAB lawyer specialised in health law, has just been sworn in as President of the National Council for Medically Assisted Procreation (CNPMA), thus renewing her mandate leading this institution.
The CNPMA is the independent, specialised body that has the authority to control, monitor, and enforce the use of medically assisted reproduction in Portugal keeping pace with scientific and technical developments in science and technology and their implications for society, the law, and ethics.
