Greg is a founding and Managing Partner of Rostron Carlyle Lawyers. He is heavily involved in the growth, innovation and development of the firm, following a vision for further national and international success.
Greg oversees the Migration and Commercial Corporate sectors at the firm, specifically managing practice group client service standards and personally litigates a variety of matters.
What motivated you to pursue a career in law?
“Law seemed like the right fit for my me from a young age. As a student and young man I was always up for a robust political or philosophical discussion! My father was an accountant and enjoyed working for himself and for small businesses. I inherited his love and passion to help people succeed and relish the opportunity to help solve problems and assist people in need. It was always my dream to work for myself, and build a practice. I have been lucky enough along the way to meet some amazing lawyers, some of whom have become my partners and my friends. Hamish (Carlyle) and I have been friends and partners for over 25 years.”

Hamish Carlyle is a founding Partner of Rostron Carlyle Lawyers. He is an integral player in the development of the firm’s group practice areas and client service standards and is an active member of the Brisbane business community.
Hamish oversees the Compensation group practice at the firm and acts in a wide variety of litigious matters where his significant experience dictates.
