We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Swanigan, CAE, as Managing Director of LAW, effective 8 September.
As LAW looks to its next phase, Tiffany will build on the organization’s strong foundation and work alongside LAW’s members and Executive Committee to deepen engagement, strengthen connections across our global network, and continue creating meaningful value for members. Central to this next chapter is ensuring that LAW remains connected to the issues and priorities that matter most to our members and continues to evolve alongside the firms and leaders it serves.

Tiffany is an accomplished association executive with more than 15 years of experience leading mission-driven organizations through growth, transformation, and transition. Her experience spans executive leadership, membership and engagement, governance, organizational strategy, and operations across national and global associations. Throughout her career, she has partnered closely with boards, volunteer leaders, and executive teams to strengthen organizations, build engaged member communities, and translate strategic priorities into meaningful results.
Most recently, Tiffany served as Vice President of Operations for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), a global professional association representing more than 50,000 members across 90 countries. In that role, she led membership and organizational strategy and partnered with the CEO, board, and senior leadership on growth, revenue strategy, technology modernization, and long-term sustainability. Earlier in her career, Tiffany held executive and senior leadership roles across professional associations in the nonprofit sector.
Tiffany is an alumna of the American Society of Association Executives Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) and currently serves on the Association Forum of Chicagoland’s Board of Directors.
As Managing Director, Tiffany looks forward to getting to know LAW’s members, learning from their experiences and perspectives, and working with the Executive Committee and staff to build on LAW’s strengths and shape its next chapter.
Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys traveling, tackling her latest home design or renovation project, and spending time with family and friends.
