LAW member firm Sphere Logic Partners is pleased to announce that the Huahe International Commercial Mediation Centre officially opened its doors in Xiamen, China, on September 3, 2026, following approval from China’s Ministry of Justice. It is the first commercial mediation organization established following the entry into force of China’s Commercial Mediation Regulations on May 1, 2026.
Situated at the convergence of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, and the BRICS Innovation Base, Huahe aims to advance commercial mediation as a “third pillar” of dispute resolution alongside litigation and arbitration, while maintaining its independence from both.
The Centre was initiated by the Xiamen Silk Road Enterprise Digital Compliance Service Center, whose operations are primarily supported by its founding institution, Sphere Logic Partners.
