DER Touristik Group, a member of German REWE Group’s tourism division, has formed a joint venture with DSR Holding, a subsidiary of Deutsche Seereederei Group. The two companies each hold a 50% stake in DR Hospitality GmbH & Co. KG which was established for the purpose of the transaction. The closing of the transaction is still subject to clearance by the relevant antitrust authorities.
With 16 hotels and resorts under the brands A-ROSA Resorts & Hideaways, aja and Henri Hotels, the joint venture aims to become the market leader in environmentally friendly and sustainable tourism in Europe. REWE Group is one of the leading retail and tourism groups in Europe.
